Williamson Pump & Motor is seeking a full-time Shop Technician to join our team. This role is hands-on and focused on keeping pumps, motors, and related mechanical equipment in top working order. You’ll be an important part of our shop operations, working alongside our experienced team to ensure all systems run efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain pumps, motors, and other mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose problems and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes.
- Perform part replacements as needed.
- Carry out necessary repairs to restore equipment to working condition.
- Collaborate closely with the team to ensure all systems operate efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment including pumps, and motors
- Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision and as a team member
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites
