Williamson Pump & Motor is looking for a highly detailed individual to process weekly payroll through ADP in conjunction with our service software.
Key Responsibilities
- Processes weekly payroll in collaboration with other departments.
- Responsible for general ledger entries for payroll.
- Submits certified payrolls to required parties.
- Creates and maintains policies and procedures for payroll processing.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain employee records (attendance, vacation, PTO EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirement.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Payroll/Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- General accounting knowledge
- Payroll processing experience with ADP, or other outsourced service.
